“From the book of Genesis to Rerum Novarum to the 21st Century. In our study of Catholic Social Teaching, we are going to start at God’s revelation of Himself to His creation. There is great significance in rooting Catholic Social Teaching in a historical context. Scripture and Tradition act as guides to our knowledge of God and of ourselves. How we relate to God, one another in society, and ourselves is key for understanding what Catholic Social Teaching means.” (Chapter 1)
Beginning 22nd February for 8 weeks we will meet at 7-8:30pm to read the study and discuss together each chapter. Exploring scripture, papal documents and key players in in our rich history of Social Teaching.
If you can’t join us in person there will be a Zoom option. There is a cost for the book only and if interested please contact us soon (Maree or Michael) to allow time for postal delivery of the study. email: mountainofpraise@outlook.com.au
